For the second year, Talitha Coffee will be on the beach at Switchfoot Bro-Am Beach Fest 2026, one of San Diego's most anticipated community events of the summer. On Saturday, June 13, we're joining more than 15,000 attendees at Moonlight State Beach in Encinitas for a full day of surf, live music and purpose.

Bro-Am Beach Fest 2026 Event Details

What Is Switchfoot Bro-Am?

Switchfoot Bro-Am is an annual surf and music festival founded by Grammy Award-winning San Diego-native band Switchfoot. Since 2005, the event has raised funds and awareness for local organizations that serve homeless, at-risk and disadvantaged youth across San Diego County. The Switchfoot Bro-Am Foundation is a fiscally sponsored project of Mission Edge San Diego.

The weekend includes two signature events. The Benefit Party on June 11 brings together professional athletes, musicians, artists and philanthropists for an evening of fundraising. Beach Fest on June 13 is the free, all-ages celebration at Moonlight Beach that draws thousands of San Diegans and visitors for a day of community, competition and live music.

What to Expect at Beach Fest 2026

Beach Fest runs from early morning through the afternoon with highlights throughout the day.

• Surf Contest: Top athletes take to the waves at Moonlight Beach from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the crowd-favorite surf joust returning this year.
• Live Music: Grammy Award-winners Switchfoot headline a beachfront concert from 12 to 5 p.m., joined by special guests and local artists.
• Vendors, Food, and Brand Activations: A vibrant marketplace of local vendors, food and drinks, and interactive brand experiences lines the beach all day.
